After I graduated from high school my life changed drastically. You see, because at the time of my
graduation I was still considered an immigrant and because of that I wasn’t eligible to receive the offered scholarships and grants.
To add to that I also realized that college tuition was going to be three times as expensive. My quest
to pay for tuition forced me to find a job and that’s where I learned that I had to do things the hard way to benefit from simple things everyone else takes for granted.
I was getting paid minimum wage, I worked crazy hours so I can pay for books, transportation and
school. As a result I was never home. If I wasn’t at school, struggling to stay awake, I would be stuck in the long 2-3 hour commute from work to campus or I would be working long hours on my feet.
I no longer had the time to spend with my family, my brothers and sisters almost never saw me. I was
the first person out of the house and the last person back in.
Can you imagine going through such a change out of necessity!?
Those were tough times….
It took me years but because I started my list building efforts to promote other companies I started
realizing the power, the potential and realizing what It would take for me to get more free time to do what it is I like doing best…
And that is playing sports and spending plenty of time with my loved ones.
In my corporate job I learned that some of my colleagues had a part time job as well as a full time job.
I don’t think we’re supposed to live this way.
There’s so much more to life than slaving away and selling our time and barely getting what we deserve for it.
I now have free time for my family and better yet the financial power to help them in situations we
were not capable of doing so in the past.
A true blessing and it’s something we can all achieve by being dedicated and following a simple
blueprint.
