Your email list is one of the most fundamental assets to have to build an additional income.
As a list builder, you must cherish your list simply because it is your main source of traffic. Because your list has a bond with you they trust you to share what you believe to be best for them.
It is a great responsibility and when done right the results are very humbling.
Take me for example. I used to struggle to pay my bus fare to go to school but now when I write an email and hit send, my message has such an impact that it creates subscribers, followers and more importantly…
Buyers. I love the ones who buy because not only do they acquire new skills they will no longer have to worry about something as simple as paying the bills when they implement what is taught.
All you do is write an email and hit send.
Let that settle in and think about it for a few seconds…

Having followers and likes don’t make you a successful marketer.
Those are vanity metrics… It’s sad that people are blinded by it… what matters most is making the sale. Not how many people hit like...or follow.
There are millions of people floating around the internet looking for a place to stick their affiliate links who aren't making anything.
Your domain is worthless, especially if it contains your first or last name.
You can't flip it or otherwise milk it in any way.
It has no SEO value, other than ranking for your own name or your product, which, let's face it, nobody is searching for right now, unless you're some form of a celebrity or someone hiding behind a screen chasing clout.
Your knowledge may be the only marketable asset, but it's impossible to squeeze the cheese out of what you know, without there being someone willing to pay you for your time, your skill or your lectures.
The list, the ones who open your emails, the ones who read and take action are the ones you should concentrate on.
That's where it matters the most.

Your email list is the only thing you can count.
