Howdy,
I struggle with choice. It gives me anxiety. It's hard for me to pick one thing from a dozen options, especially if it's a big decision, something that would impact my life in a big way. Like if I'm shopping for a car or a gaming laptop or a house.
Does this sound familiar?
The fear of choosing the wrong one is so heavy I often end up choosing nothing instead.
The Fear of Missing Out...
I've been getting questions from students going through a similar experience trying to decide whether or not to jump into affiliate marketing niche.
If you're feeling it right now, I might be able to help.
Each month I generate multiple 6 figs promoting other people's products.
I've also received awards for dominating leaderboards, but I have to admit...
It's freaking hard!
First of all, competition is brutal. There's software that shows others what campaigns you're running, and lets them clone your intellectual property and use it as your own.
Vendors don't care if that's unfair.
In fact, they love the idea since the more affiliates use successful campaigns, the more moolah, and customers they generate.
Secondly, traffic prices are also constantly on the rise.
And I'm not talking about just paid methods.
If you use free methods, you pay with your time instead of money.
A recent study from Ahrefs shows that it takes 950 days to rank your site on page 1 of Google. As the months go by, you'll need to wait more and more before people find your content.
Thirdly, let's not forget that komishins are a joke the majority of the time.
If you're promoting physical products, at best you'll get a 5%
With digital products, the percentage is way higher. Many times you can get up to 100% for a front end offer and up to 50% for upsells.
But it's also easier for people to ask for a refund and your komishins will drop to zero then.
And finally, we need to consider the lack of long term security.
I had offers generating me 6 figs for months and months.
Then, one morning the vendor decided to quit internet mrakting and go hunt rare butterflies or whatever. They took down the offer and my inkum steam disappeared.
No way you can feel secure when things are so chaotic.
Bad news is the above are just a small fraction of the headaches with affiliate markating.
Good news is you don't need to live with these.
I'm holding a new training this week where I'll share a less troublesome alternative.
I used it to generate 1,913,416 last year
Best part?
You can be up and running as soon as today without building websites, creating content or even building a list
