Where is the BEST Place to Start with Affiliate Marketing?

When I started affiliate marketing I was literally living in a dump and working in one.

I was desperate to stop being a bottom feeder and finally breakthrough with my affiliate business.

 

This is a memory that will never leave me and that's fine. It makes me appreciate everything affiliate marketing gave me over the years.

 

It's a reminder I can't wash off.

This reminder is triggered whenever I read the application people submit

to me asking for coaching them in affiliate marketing through this page.

 

Many people are in the exact same position I was nearly 10 years ago - working a dead end job, unfulfilled, sacrificing time and health to pay the bills.

 

Most don't see a way out besides affiliate marketing.

I have all of them talk to my "gate-keepers" Adam and Danny before taking them on as clients.

 

There are exceptions thought.

Some people don't even get to talk to my gate keepers.

 

Why?

This is going to sound really harsh, but it will make sense to you.

 

Sometimes I get applications from people saying they're about to be throw out on the street or that they've been out of a job for 3 years and can't find one. They beg me to coach them to pay their bills.

 

I refuse to take these people on as clients for the same reason I never looked for coaching myself in that position.

 

1. They don't need a coach. They need a job. Job is what you use to pay your bills. Coaching is what you get to build your business.

 

2. If they can't pay bills, they aren't good students to invest time in. It's pretty simple really. You have to have some basic things down to be a good student.

One of these things is being able to deal with life. If you're incapable to get and hold on to a job - you shouldn't be looking for coaching.

 

3. Results aren't instant. I don't know what you've been told about affiliate marketing, but it's a legitimate business and it takes time to build momentum and get results. If you're behind on bills, you shouldn't do affiliate marketing.
